Run Healthy Application (formal title to be determined)

The Invention: 

This will be a phone application that will allow runners to track injury, pain, and perception of run information. This will tie in with existing technology the runner already has from a smartwatch device which in combination will provide feedback to the runner about why a particular run may have led to pain or injury. 

Benefits:

• Combines tracking of injury information with metrics runners sometimes collect but don’t know how to apply 
• Provide information back to the laboratory that can be used to further laboratory research 
• Runners are often interested in metrics of training, this will translate information back in a concise format

Market Opportunity: 

• According to IMARC, “The global running gear market size reached US$ 41.8 Billion in 2023. Looking forward, IMARC Group expects the market to reach US$ 69.2 Billion by 2032, exhibiting a growth rate (CAGR) of 5.6% during 2024-2032.” Consumers are on the lookout for new technologies to help with their health-conscious and understand their result metrics.
