Video Slot Gaming System with Positive Acting Collectable Symbols and Collectable Event Termination Symbols

Description:

Invention Summary

Slot game with collectible first class symbols and secondary class symbols. Starting on the left hand edge of the frame and depending on the wager set on the payline(s), consecutive combination of same symbols can result in the recorded collection of symbols to be displayed on a designated area on the screen until the maximum amount of collectible symbols is achieved. The collection of secondary class symbols is also displayed on the screen and their effect upon collection is to counteract the collection of first class symbols via elimination.

Market Opportunity

According to IBISWorld, revenue in the Casino industry for the U.S. is $65.7 Billion as of 2019 and is expected to grow to $70.7 Billion by 2024 at an annualized rate of 1.5%. In comparison to traditional slot machines, the accumulation of two classes of symbols that respectively benefit the player (in the case of first class symbols) and negatively affect (secondary symbols) would lead to a determination of increased drama and tension allowing the player to feel comfortable attempting to gain a higher benefit potential with the possibility of further accumulation of first class symbol.

Features and Benefits

•       The collection of a predetermined amount of first class symbol (maximum) can be used to initiate free spins, wagering bonus or jackpot event/bonus to the benefit of the player allowing them to continue to play.

•       The occurrence of a secondary symbol can eliminate first class symbols one by one or in the event that the predetermined maximum amount of secondary symbols is achieved (before first class symbols are used) can result in the elimination of all symbols collected.

•       Secondary class symbols can be presented one at a time or multiple at a time during a spin.
